Cookie notice
Last updated 28 August 2026.
In brief
Render Roll does not run Google Analytics unless you select Allow analytics. You can reject analytics and still use the site, choose a market and send a business enquiry. We do not use advertising or retargeting tags.
Browser storage used by Render Roll
The site uses first-party storage to remember your market, retain your analytics choice and protect forms. If you allow analytics, Google Analytics also sets first-party _ga cookies. The table below explains each item and how long it lasts.
| Name | Kind | Why it exists | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
rr_market | Cookie | Keeps the market and currency route consistent as you move through the site. | 90 days |
renderroll_analytics_consent_v1 | Local storage | Remembers whether you allowed or rejected analytics, so the site can continue to respect that choice. | Until you clear site data |
| Form session | Secure HTTP-only cookie | Helps protect enquiry and quote-file forms from automated abuse and replayed submissions. | Ends with the browser session |
_ga and _ga_* | Cookie, analytics only | Helps Google Analytics recognise repeat visits from the same browser. These cookies are only set after you allow analytics. | 60 days |
What happens before you choose
Analytics, advertising storage, advertising user data and advertising personalisation begin in a denied state. The Google Analytics script is not requested until you select Allow analytics. If you ignore the banner or select Reject analytics, the site does not measure your visit or set analytics cookies.
What optional analytics records
After you allow analytics, Render Roll records page views, completed enquiry-page views, SKU-template downloads, outbound-link clicks and email-link clicks. Google Signals and advertising personalisation are disabled. The analytics setup removes query strings from page addresses, limits _ga cookies to 60 days and retains event and user data for two months.
Change or withdraw your choice
Open at any time. Selecting Reject analytics stops further analytics events, removes the Google tag from the page and asks the browser to delete Render Roll _ga cookies. You can also clear the site's data through your browser settings.
What we do not use
Render Roll does not use advertising tags, retargeting tags, social-network pixels, cross-site tracking or browser fingerprinting. We do not build advertising profiles, sell personal information for advertising or use cookie data to make automated decisions about an order. Analytics is used only to understand how people use the site and which pages help them reach an enquiry.
