renderroll

How it works

From CAD to photorealistic product visualisations.

The same controlled 3D product visualisation process for fifteen products or fifteen hundred. We check your files and scope before production, then hold every image to one approved standard.

In short

Who holds each stage of a Render Roll order?

Every Render Roll order moves through nine visible steps, and each one is held either by you or by XO3D Ltd, so no stage is ambiguous. You choose a package, upload a SKU list, and send a small representative sample of CAD or 3D files instead of the whole catalogue. That sample is validated, the in-scope work is confirmed, any preparation or modelling is priced separately, and the batching plan is set out. A master image standard covering camera, lighting, crops, margins and backgrounds is then agreed once, and your first product is rendered against it for sign-off. Only after that approval does the remaining catalogue go into production, with every batch quality checked for angles, backgrounds, framing and file naming before delivery. Lifestyle and campaign-style context shots sit outside this standard output and route to a custom quote instead.

Direct answer

How does CAD become a photorealistic product visualisation?

We validate the geometry and scale, prepare materials and finishes, then agree a master camera, lighting, crop and background standard. One product is rendered for approval before that setup is applied across the catalogue. Every batch is quality checked before the finished ecommerce images are delivered.

The ordering story

Nine steps, from SKU list to delivered images.

Each step is either yours or ours. You always know who is holding the work and what happens next.

1

Choose a package

Pick the pack that fits your catalogue, or answer a few questions in the builder and let it recommend one. Nothing is locked in yet, and no price is binding until we have seen your files.

2

Upload the SKU list

Download our SKU template and add one row per product: code, name, category, the angles you need and any notes. Upload it, and the tool maps your columns so a long spreadsheet stays readable and nothing is dropped in silence.

3

Send representative files

Send a small, representative set of your CAD or 3D files, not the whole catalogue. A couple of simple products, one standard and one more complex is enough for us to judge the work fairly.

4

We validate the scope

Our team checks your files and your SKU list, then confirms what is in scope, what needs preparation or modelling (quoted separately), and how the work will be batched. You see an honest review state with an expected response window, never a spinner pretending to be automatic.

5

We set a master image standard

We build the master look for your catalogue: the camera, lighting, crops and backgrounds that every SKU will follow. It is agreed once, at the start, so the last product matches the first.

6

You approve the first product

We render your first product to the agreed standard and send it for sign-off. You approve the look before we scale, so any change is made once, on one product, not chased across hundreds of finished images.

7

We scale across your catalogue

With the standard approved, we produce the rest of your catalogue against it, in structured batches. Variants reuse the approved base, so they move faster and cost less than a new product.

8

We quality-check every batch

Every batch is checked against the master standard before it reaches you: correct angles, clean backgrounds, consistent framing and file naming. Problems are caught on our side, not in your product listings.

9

We deliver your images

You receive your images in a clean, consistently named folder, sized for each channel you sell on, with white, transparent PNG and soft-shadow studio backgrounds. Render once, use across your listings. Lifestyle or campaign-style context shots are not part of the standard automated output; they route to a custom quote.

Configure, validate, approve, then pay.

We do not take an unconditional order before we have checked your files. That is what keeps the standard, and the timeline, honest.

No unconditional checkout, and no bindable price before we have seen representative files. It protects your budget from a false quote, and it protects the standard from a job we have not properly scoped.

Why it stays consistent

One master standard, approved once.

Consistency is not luck. It comes from setting one standard, getting it signed off, then holding every batch to it.

Before we render your catalogue, we build a single master image standard: the camera angle, the lighting, the crops, the margins and the backgrounds that every product will follow. It is agreed once, at the start.

We then render your first product to that standard and send it to you for sign-off. You approve the look before we scale, so any adjustment is made once, on one product, not chased across a finished catalogue.

  • A master standard, set once

Camera, light, crops and backgrounds agreed on your product before any batch begins.

  • Your first product, approved by you

You sign off the look on one product, so changes happen at the start, not across a finished catalogue.

  • The same rules on every batch

Every later product and variant is built to the approved standard and checked against it.
